The Broody Chick’s Very First Giveaway!

So, I’ve decided to shake things up a bit.  I’m having my very first giveaway!

All you have to do to be entered, is comment on this blog post and enter your email so I have a way of contacting you if you are the winner, but I do want some specific information from you…

I’m wanting to know what you’d like me to write more about.  I am very passionate about pregnancy, birth, and being a wife and mother of lots of kids, but perhaps there are other specific areas related to these topics that you’d like to read more about.  I don’t want to write all about pregnancy or newborn complications if it’s nothing you’re interested in.  Hopefully that makes sense.

So what’s in it for you?  Well, Rooster and I have decided that we’re going to let the winner choose the gift they’d like best.  You will have 3 options to pick from….

The first is a $25.00 gift card to Starbucks, for all you caffeine addicts out there, like me and Maddie Wallace.

Starbucks coffee

By the way, did you know there’s a secret off menu item that you can order called a Unicorn Frappuccino?  Neither did I.

The second option is a $25.00 gift card to Toys R Us/Babies R Us.  Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, y’all.

And the third option is a $25.00 gift card to Wal-Mart.   Save $25, live better.

The random drawing will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, and I will be posting the winner that afternoon…..with a drum roll…..

So, you know the rules, you know the prizes.  All you need to do now, is enter.  Easy Peasy, people….easy peasy.  Good luck!  🙂

  1. I’m sure you must be dealing with hormones with at least one. Help me! We’re on the brink and I’m already answering questions about menstruation. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

  2. How do you stay organized? I have many moms who ask me the same question. As our kids get older they are more involved in “outside the family” activities. What are your favorite tips?
Also what are things that fulfill you? Our kids won’t stay little forever..what do you see yourself doing when you have your youngest in college or out of the home?

  3. Lisa this blog is so fun to read! I just wish we still lived close with our farms and 12+ babies between us! They’d have a blast growing up together!😊 (No need to enter drawing! Just thought I’d leave my thoughts!)

  4. I think you should write about discipline. With a house full of sweet babies, how do you use discipline in your home? What has worked for you and what hasn’t?

  5. Hey Lisa! I have enjoyed reading your blogs. I know you are busy with the kids, home schooling, cleaning, etc. What are your types for cooking? Favorite meals the kids love?

  7. Shawna…Morning schedule….that’s a funny one! 🙂 This post will probably be another one of those “shocker posts” that you’ll either love or hate. I’ll write it up soon. Be prepared…. 😉

  8. Hey Christ! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. 🙂 Yes….we would have somethin’ else going on, wouldn’t we!? 12 kids, 2 moms…..craziness to say the least! It would be really fun to get them all together. And us both just having one boy each… ironic! You’re so sweet, but you’re totally in the drawing! 🙂

  9. Hey Paula! Organization is an entire post on it’s own. I do my best, to explain my nutty system. Outside activities….they aren’t in any sports or anything….I have reasons for that that I will explain. 🙂 And being fulfilled….that will be a bittersweet post…I’ll be working on it for you. 🙂

  10. Lauren. Girl. I’m definitely dealing with hormones from Maggie. Geez LOUISE. She’s learned all about everything she knows so far from me, so it’s been a bit easier for me than I think it was for my mom. You know…learning about your body and the birds and the bees (which we have NOT discussed yet when it comes to humans….she knows all about breeding when it comes to animals, so I’m pretty sure she isn’t totally clueless, but it’s an area that I feel she’s not quite ready for. Even though she’s 12, she doesn’t have outside school friends that talk about that stuff. When she starts her period, which she does know about, it may be time, but we’ll see. As that unfolds, I’ll keep you updated. As far as a post goes, that one will be more tough until I actually have “the talk”. And I’m dreading it!!
